Mr. Andrews Baafi Owusu is a Chemical Engineer by profession. He obtained a BSc in Chemical Engineering degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) in 1988, and an MSc in Energy Trade and Finance from CASS Business School, City University London. Mr. Baafi Owusu has over 25 years working experience in the Oil & Gas industry having worked in various capacities in Movement Of Products (MOP), The Processing Plants, Power House, Plant and Equipment Inspection, Chemical Laboratory, Yield Consumption and Loss. He was the head of Shipping and also worked at the Production Planning and Control/Marketing Office and other sections at Ghana’s premier oil refinery – Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) from 1989 to 2010. He exited as the Distributions Manager of TOR in 2010. He has undertaken ample training programmes both locally and overseas including Static and Dynamic Measurements in Petroleum Products organized by SGS Redwood Ghana, Practice of Supervision at Management Development & Productivity Institute (MDPI) – Ghana, Cargo Reconciliation and Voyage Analysis by SGS Redwood Service – Geneva, Switzerland, Reuters Energy Training Programme at Reuter – Abidjan, Program on Investment Appraisal and Management (PIAM), Havard Institute for International Development at Harvard University, Cambridge, Boston, USA, International Oil Trading – A Practical Approach to the Legal Issues for Successful Management of Claims and Disputes at the College of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Oxford – UK. Mr Baafi Owusu is now the Technical and Operations Director at Fueltrade Company Limited and an Executive Director of Andev Company Limited.
Dr. Franklin D. Nkansah received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University in the USA. Dr. Nkansah was the President & CEO of FDN Enterprises LLC, a US-based multi-national medium-scale business whose operations spans engineering design, technical consultancy, eMR-automation and healthcare delivery services. In January 2006, Dr. Nkansah joined Prairie View A&M University as a Professor of Electrical Engineering after an excellent 20-year career in the Microelectronics Industry with tours of duty at AT&T, Motorola and Advanced Micro-Devices. Dr. Nkansah is an embodiment of Engineering Research and Management expertise, in the areas of Business Development, Computing and Telephony. During Dr. Nkansah’s tenure at Motorola, he engineered a technology development thrust which developed the world’s first 0.13µm wireless Baseband product with Ultra-low power CMOS technology. The productization of this technology generated over $300M in revenues for Motorola. Dr. Nkansah’s engineering research over the years produced over 11 technical publications, 7 US-patents with over 200 internal and external technical presentations, which has been chronicled in various microelectronic products, journal articles and conference papers.
Garnett Kwesi Affainie attained his professional membership status from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in May 2011. He worked with Veritax Associates, an Accra based Chartered Accountancy practicing firm, for about 4 years. Garnett rose through the ranks in the private firm from a Trainee Accountant to the level of an Assistant Audit Manager where he became the team leader in several audit engagements including the financial audits of Chase Petroleum (Oil Trading Company) for 3 consecutive audits. He then moved on to perform Accounting management functions at CB Electric Company & Northshore Limited, all in Accra. Garnett is also an Accounting Consultant & Partner of 3rd Generation Management (3GM) Consultancy Services spearheading the provision of accounting services to several SMEs including African Support Network, Anointed Electrical Engineering Services, Cleaning Dynamics Limited, PFL Ghana Limited etc. Garnett has also gained experience in a manufacturing set-up where he played the role of Chief Accountant and Head of Finance at PLOT Ghana Limited, a cocoa processing company in Takoradi, before assuming the responsibility of Finance Manager at Andev Company Limited in Tema.
Tei Mensah Adesah worked as a building Technology apprentice with Chalcroft Construction Ltd in England, and later worked as an assistant and deputy quality controller at Sixteen 47 Ghana Ltd, a Ghana-based fashion house. In November 2009, he joined Atlantic Consult and its sister Company Unique Circle where he worked as a General Manager. With his experience, he helped in procurement and spearheaded in helping medical Doctors acquired part-time jobs (LOCUM CENTRE). He is also a co-founder of a general merchant company, WALNUT LOGISTICS which is also an interior decoration company. Tei Mensah is currently the Operations Manager of Andev Company Limited.
Mr. Daniel Ntiamoah-Marfo is a Developer by profession. He has a Pg.Cert. In Project Management and holds a BA in Integrated Development Studies (IDS) degree from the University for Development Studies in the year 2009. He has in his studies acquired an interdisciplinary approach in Environment and Resources Management, Economics and Entrepreneurship Development, Planning, Land Economy and Rural Development, Social and Development Administration and Development Communication. He has worked with a Non-Governmental Organization called African Health Research Organization (AHRO) as a Project Executive in 2009 to 2010, Town and Country Planning Department in the West Akim Municipal as a supporting staff to the Planning Officer in 2010 to 2011 and Glasark Oil Company with a multi-functional role in Operations, Marketing and Business Development. He is a Business Development Consultant in the Oil and Gas Industry, a partner of Estate Network and Rent Management and M-Info Tech, an IT business. In the year 2012, he assumes the position as the Market Intelligence Analyst and has risen to be the Head, Marketing with Andev Company Limited.
Felix Adu-Gyamfi Adjei attended Accra Polytechnic, Accra, where he obtained Certificate from City and Guild of London Inst in Electrical Engineering Technician Part2 in Engineering communication, Engineering Science, Circuit and Power in 1985. After school, Felix worked with Ruker Ventures, a local Food manufacturing company from 1990-1997. At Ruker Ventures, he rose through the ranks as an Inspection Officer to Head of Technical Unit, Production Manager and to the level of a General Manager. Actively involved with the planning, coordinating and control of manufacturing processes. Responsible for monitoring production processes, adjusting schedules, selection and maintenance of plant and equipment. Also involved in product design and purchasing Felix later moved on to join Jowenko Foods Ghana Ltd, a food processing company, where he was appointed the Logistics, distribution, import and export officer. He later rose through the ranks to become the Production Manager before assuming responsibility as the Logistics Manager at Andev Company Limited. Mr. Adu-Gyamfi Adjei has an extensive experience and expertise in managing and handling the technical and logistics departments of any company through strategic and tactical leadership.
Shafiu Mohammed has over 15 years experience in transport management after completing his secondary school education. He has worked his entire life in the transport industry. He first started as a trained mechanic, then went on to become a professional driver and upgraded his experience to become a bulk road vehicle driver. He then worked in that capacity with the then Mobil Oil Company (now Total Petroleum Ghana Limited) from 1996 – 2000, Star Oil Company Limited between 2000 and 2005 and subsequently became the Transport Manager of Lone Star Oil Company from 2005 to 2012 before becoming the Chief Transport Manager at Andev Company Limited.
